With over 15 years of experience in teaching, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the table. My passion lies in two key subjects: geography and maths. These subjects have always fascinated me, and I firmly believe that with the right guidance, any child can excel in them.

Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of working in specialist schools for five years, where I honed my skills in catering to diverse learning needs. As a Level 4 dyslexia qualified professional, I am adept at supporting children who face challenges with reading, writing, and comprehension. In addition, I have also dedicated my time as a key worker for autistic young people, helping them navigate their educational journey with care and understanding.
I have extensive experience working with children who have various learning difficulties, such as developmental language disorder, ADHD, autism, anxiety, social emotional and mental health needs, auditory processing needs, disordered attachment, and working memory problems. Understanding the unique requirements of each child is of utmost importance to me, and I tailor my teaching methods accordingly.

One aspect that sets me apart is my training in trauma-informed practice and the use of trauma-informed techniques. I firmly believe that a safe and nurturing environment is essential for effective learning. By employing these techniques, I ensure that each child feels supported, understood, and empowered to overcome any challenges they may face.
